The Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) proudly participated in the XIV Christmas Charity Bazaar - an esteemed event organized by the Ambassadors Spouses Association of foreign countries accredited in the Kazakh capital. The event took place at Radisson Hotel Astana on 3 December 2023.
Bringing together representatives from the diplomatic corps, international organizations, schools and charitable institutions, the Bazaar provided a chance for participants to showcase the rich culture of their respective countries through a diverse array of national goods, souvenirs, garments, handicrafts and more.
The highlight of the event was the Grand Raffle, a cherished tradition accompanying the bazaar. Participating embassies and sponsors generously contributed items, and attendees had the opportunity to win these prizes.
All proceeds generated from the Christmas Charity Bazaar were directed towards those in need in Kazakhstan. The event serves as a platform for fostering goodwill and strengthening ties between nations, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in addressing social issues.
The CICA Secretariat remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting dialogue and cooperation, not only within the framework of its core mission but also by actively supporting charitable endeavours aligned with its values.
