Baku, 21 November 2023 — CICA Deputy Secretary General Ms. Zhang Ling participated in the 15th Anniversary of TURKPA: Experience of the Past, Today’s Realities and Future Prospects conference.
On behalf of CICA Secretary General Ambassador Kairat Sarybay, she extended heartfelt congratulations, highlighting the achievements of TURKPA in developing inter-parliamentary cooperation and dialogue among the TURKPA Member States, which are also CICA Member States.
The strong and fruitful partnership between CICA and TURKPA has evolved over more than a decade. The TURKPA Member States support the ongoing transformation of CICA into a full-fledged international regional organization.
The CICA Deputy Secretary General provided an update on the ongoing activities of the organization. She underlined the progress in establishing the Council on Sustainable Connectivity and the preparations for two significant events scheduled for 2024: the CICA Rally of Volunteer Movement Leaders and the CICA Ministerial Conference on Environmental Issues.
The collaborative endeavors between CICA and TURKPA reflect a commitment to enhancing regional cooperation and addressing pressing issues, ensuring a sustainable and interconnected future for the member states.
