Participants: specialists involved in the treatment of addiction to narcotic drugs such as physicians, psychiatrists and psychologists from CICA Member States.
Topic: the Workshop is organized under the priority area “Combating illicit drugs” and will discuss new plans and strategies for treatment of addiction and review corresponding successful lessons. The following topics are to be discussed:
- Motivational interviewing in substance use disorders;
- Group therapy in substance use disorders;
- Basic of cognitive behavioral therapy, conditioning and relapse prevention;
- Indicators of effective treatment in substance use disorders.
