Theme: Youth Engagement in Advancing Sustainable Urban Development
Objective: The 9th CICA Youth Council Meeting aims to strengthen youth engagement in addressing contemporary development challenges and promote their active participation in advancing sustainable urban development across the CICA region. The Meeting will provide a platform for Member States to exchange national experiences, discuss youth-led approaches to innovation, digitalization and civic engagement, and explore solutions related to urban mobility, environmental sustainability, public safety and smart city development. The programme will also include the CICA Youth Speech and Debate Competition, focusing on artificial intelligence and human capital, and the RoboChallenge: CICA Youth Robotics Competition, aimed at fostering technological innovation, robotics, artificial intelligence and engineering skills among young people. The events will contribute to strengthening regional cooperation, people-to-people connections and confidence building through youth interaction and collaboration.
