According to the updated CICA Catalogue of Confidence Building Measures (adopted by the Meeting of the CICA Ministers of Foreign Affairs on October 12, 2021), with the aim of enhancing cooperation, creating and strengthening an atmosphere of peace, confidence and friendship in the priority area Combating terrorism, the Member States can implement the following measures:

• Consider the adoption of cooperative measures, in accordance with their national legislation and policies, to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and in preventing activities of separatist and extremist organizations and movement of terrorists with the aim of promoting security and stability of each Member State.
• Exchanging information on the status of accession to or ratification by the Member States of the relevant international legal instruments on combating terrorism and transnational organized crime as well as the steps they have taken to promote fight against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and financing of terrorism in accordance with the UN Charter, international law and the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy (UNGCTS).
