Technical characteristics
The sculpture is made of stainless steel, known for its high strength, temperature resistance and durability against mechanical damage.
Sculpture dimensions: height – 108 cm, length – 100 cm, thickness – 50 cm.

Along with the solar panels, the sculpture is one of the two contributions from the People’s Republic of China and symbolizes the country’s commitment to fostering confidence and cooperation among the CICA Member States in pursuit of peace and prosperity across the Asian continent and beyond.
The original name of this artwork 信者情真 (pinyin - "xìn zhě qíng zhēn") contains the hieroglyph xìn (信), which, depending on the context, can mean “faith” or “confidence” and is present in the Chinese name of CICA.
The author of this work of art is Professor Wu Weishan, a famous Chinese sculptor and Director of the National Art Museum of China.

He graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Nanjing Normal University in 1987. He studied at the postgraduate programme of Peking University, as well as at the Washington University School of Fine Arts in St. Louis (Missouri).
