Participants: Mid-level law enforcement personnel who work in organized crime units and whose primary responsibility is combating and investigating organized crimes. Participants should have considerable law enforcement experience before attending this program.
Objectives: Equip law enforcement officers of organized crime units with necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to effectively and competently carry out organized crime investigations and operational duties. Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
✔ Define the organized crime and explain the methods of organized crime organizations
✔ Understand the characteristics of the criminal organizations and effectively manage the organizer crime investigations and operations
✔ Explain the intelligence cycle and sum up the information sources that the law enforcement officers can access
✔ Implement the appropriate investigation techniques including technical and physical surveillance and decide where these techniques will be used correctly along with the investigation
✔ Have the ability to use the informants as a source of information
✔ Plan and manage the operations for the seizure of the revenues from criminal activities and capture of the suspects successfully
✔ Take statements in compliance with the definite and comprehensive organizational standards and judicial procedures
✔ Collect all related evidence and prepare the court files for the application of the prosecution
