The CICA Secretariat is looking for Expert in the Human Dimension

  The Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) invites applications for a vacant position of Expert in the Human Dimension.

            Qualification requirements:

An academic degree, academic title; sufficient professional experience in government agencies, the diplomatic service, a think tank or an international organization in the field of human rights; professional command of both oral and written English and Russian. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and analyzing developments, trends and challenges of the human dimension in the CICA area and beyond;
• Analyzing and assessing events in the CICA human dimension proposed by Member States to ensure they align with the interests of all Member States, as well as providing relevant conclusions and recommendations to the CICA Secretary General;
• Providing analysis and making recommendations regarding opportunities and prospects for cooperation in the human dimension;
• Writing reports and making proposals to promote human rights, youth activities, intercultural, interreligious, interethnic relations in the CICA region;
• Preparing information materials, including notes, materials for briefings and statements;
• Participating in various events, conferences, seminars, round tables, etc.;
• Collecting and analyzing information about the activities of other international organizations and regional fora in the human dimension and making proposals to the Secretary General regarding best practices in this area;
• Preparing information and analytical materials, including notes, materials for briefings and statements for the CICA Secretary General;
• Holding seminars and trainings to promote human rights, youth activities, intercultural, interreligious, interethnic relations in the CICA region;
• Conducting activities related to the CICA Youth Council;
• Holding events planned under the human dimension;
