Objective:
The Eighth Plenary Session of the CICA Business Council will focus on key topics such as:

• Digitalization for SME Growth
• Initiatives on the Development of Women Entrepreneurship
• Supporting the Green Transition of SMEs
• Role and Contribution of SMEs in Developing Smart Cities
• Cross-Border Trade and E-Commerce
• Industrial Cooperation and SME Participation in Global Value Chains (GVCs)

Key aims include:

• Discuss key challenges and opportunities for SME development, focusing on digitalization, green economy and cross-border trade within the CICA region.
• Explore strategies to enhance industrial cooperation, facilitate SME participation in GVCs and promote B2B interactions.
• Strengthen regional economic collaboration by fostering innovation, technology adoption and sustainable business models.
• Provide a networking platform for CICA Member States to exchange best practices and discuss policy frameworks that support SME growth.

 

Tenth CICA Business Forum

Organizers: Small and Medium Business Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (KOBIA) and the CICA Secretariat
Event Format: Hybrid
Venue: The Ritz-Carlton, Baku, Azerbaijan
Languages: English and Russian (with simultaneous interpretation)
Participants: Members of the CICA Business Council and Business Communities from CICA Member States

Objective:

• Enhance direct contact and cooperation between business representatives, investors, and government officials from CICA Member States.
• Discuss emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities in the regional business environment.
• Provide a platform for networking, business partnerships, and investment opportunities among entrepreneurs and stakeholders.
