The Member State hosting and reports on the activitiesthe meeting of the Heads of State/ Government assumes the Chairmanship of CICA until the next regular Summit . Republic of Kazakhstan was holding the Chairmanship 2002-2010. Turkey ’s current tenure as Chairman will last until 2012. The CICA Chairman is responsible for the coordination and communication on current CICA activities. The Chairman presides over various CICA meetings; and coordinates and reports on the activities of CICA. With the consent of the Member States Chairman represents CICA in the United Nations and other international fora.
