During the meetings the CICA Member States discussed the draft Declaration and other issues related to the Third CICA Summit to be held in Istanbul on 8 June 2010. The Republic of Turkey presented the Concept Paper on the vision of the Turkish CICA Chaırmanshıp for the period 2010 – 2012. Turkey announced that the theme of its Chairmanship would be  “Enhanced Political and Security Dialogue in Asia: Key to Elaborating Cooperative Approaches to Security”.

           Special Working Group and Senior Officials Committee also discussed concept papers and action plans on implementation of confidence building measures in different areas in addition to general issues relating to CICA process and the CICA Secretariat.
